Gosport and Stokes Bay Golf Club have a dress code for the golf course and the club house. This is changed by the members at an AGM when it is felt alterations are necessary. The purpose of the dress code is to avoid awkward situations when members and guests arrive at the Golf Club.

DRESS CODE COURSE Golf Shoes must be worn at all times., All golf shirts are acceptable, but not football and rugby shirts. Shirts must have a collar and worn tucked into the trousers. Trousers/shorts must be tailored and appropriate for golf-wear. Jeans/Cargo/Combat styles are not permitted on the course. Shorts must not be three quarter/calf length or beach style. If wearing shorts, predominantly white socks must be worn. All hats and caps must be worn the correct way round. Ladies 3/4 length tailored golf trousers are acceptable.

DRESS CODE CLUBHOUSE
Golf shoes must not be worn in the Club House, and all caps and head-wear must be removed. Appropriate footwear may be worn without socks.

MOBILE PHONES

Mobile phones should be on silent whilst on the Course or in the Club House and calls should only be answered or made in the foyer, changing rooms or outside of the club house.
